An excellent opportunity for a graduate with native level English educated to degree level in Portuguese, ideally combined with French or German, to start their career in the translation industry. Full training will be provided. The salary is £23,750 plus benefits.

The successful candidate will work as part of an international team of Translation Checkers and this position will involve the word-by-word checking of translations that have been translated from Portuguese to English by the in-house (or freelance) translators. In addition you may also be tasked with adapting existing translations as well as ad-hoc duties associated with the finishing and dispatch of the translation.

The ideal candidate will have an outstanding eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects. In addition to Portuguese and English, French, German or Spanish language skills will be seen as advantageous, however not essential for this particular hire.
