Registered Nurse RGN Trainer Position Summary

To work with the Head of Care Quality and Compliance in all aspects of auditing and training in line with company Policies and Procedures.
To provide educational training and leadership to all care staff and nurse team to enhance care delivery within the company.
Deliver ongoing care certificate training, refresher training and specialised training including relevant assessments to support social care staff and field managers.
Support care staff with educational development as well as supervision of projects for QCF qualifications.
Collaborate with the care quality and compliance team in planning, monitoring and implementation of training and auditing support to confirm compliance with quality standards and practices.
Deliver in-service training and workshops to promote continuous improvement of care practices.
Manage service user occupational therapy referrals and deliver training to care staff in the use of equipment and manual handling techniques.
Working with the Head of Care Quality & Compliance in line with the companies policies and procedures .
 This position demands a great deal of organisational skill, a considerable amount of innovation and flexibility in the decision making and problem-solving process
Registered Nurse RGN Trainer Person Specification

Thorough knowledge and understanding of CQC standards within the area of social care settings.
Ability to provide guidance and leadership to staff in areas of care delivery.
Knowledge of QCF certification requirements
Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate individual training programs
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small groups
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment
