Software Helpdesk Support is needed by a cutting edge software company providing web-based data solutions for the healthcare sector. This is an exciting time for the business as it expands into new areas. As Software Helpdesk Support, you will hold exceptional customer facing skills with an excellent telephone manner, and a true passion for technology.
This role may suit someone currently working in customer support but also linked to IT in some way, be that by qualification, career experience, or even a keen personal interest. Full training will be given built upon your desire to learn the system and give customers advice and support.
As part of the Software Support team, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming calls from clients, as well as emails, analysing customer issues, diagnosing the problem, resolving when possible and escalating if needed. You will log all issues via the Salesforce database and keep on top of issues ensuring that they have been resolved.
Relevant Skills and Experience:
– A genuine interest and passion for technology and IT support with an ambition to develop your knowledge further
– Good understanding of using computers and the internet. An understanding of the software development process and any knowledge of programming, Windows, Databases and Web servers would be extremely beneficial
– Exceptional communication and customer service skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced and pressurised environment
