Workplace description: Dating back to 1688, the hotel has undergone significant improvements while still reflecting its long established heritage.
The interior is a mix of contempory & traditional, offering a venue for any occasion; from a relaxing break, lavish wedding or business conference.
Overlooking the picturesque Village Common at Gerrards Cross, The hotel offers a warm welcome to guests as it has done for over 300 years.
Main duties and responsibilities: You will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of the reception area, answering calls, handling guest enquiries, checking guests in and out, taking reservations.
You will work closely with other hotel departments, especially housekeeping, to ensure rooms are ready for guests to check in.
This is a busy front desk so you must be organized and able to work as a team or on your own initiative, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
Essential criteria: Previous hotel reception experience.
Knowledge of hotel reservations systems (ideally Opera V5.), good sales ability and an approachable manner. You will also be an outgoing and friendly person and possess good communication skills.
Accommodation provided: Yes on an all inclusive basis
Charge for accommodation: 215 GBP per month
