This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Development Manager to join a leading UK supply chain and logistics company based in Gerrards Cross.

Joining the Commercial team and as a Product expert, you will be responsible for all activities within Product Development and ensure they are in line with company’s strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee new and emerging product opportunities in line with the company’s roadmap

* Manage and support the Product Development Managers in the delivery of product solutions

* Develop relationships with subject matter experts of different products to ensure team support

* Work with the product development, sales and marketing teams to gain customer insight into their requirements

* Review product research to verify competitive information and market analysis

Requirements

* Previous experience in a product development role particularly within a supply chain/freight forwarder setting

* Proven background in managing a team

* Knowledge of developing proposals in a variety of formats and pricing structures

* Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop and maintain business relationships

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
