Working closely with the Operations Manager you will be his Commercial Lead responsible for 2 Key clients.
These clients are demanding but fair and have been repeat clients for this contractor for the past 4 Years now. Our client did NOT make a since furlough or pay cut in the past 18 Months since the pandemic.
Reporting directly into the Commercial Director in HQ near Gerrards Cross. You will be capable of handling 1 Project worth £20 Million or handling numerous smaller projects ranging from £5-15 Million .
Do you understand urgency and have the appetite to exceed tender margin ? To have a successful application you must have experience within Buildings preferably New Build such as Industrial , Commercial , Retail & Manufacturing .
Responsible for :
* Cost Reports
* Tender Analysis
* Providing Project Managers contractual advice
* Managing forecasts & cash flow
* Coordination of Bills of Quants
* Managing Junior Staff – Procurement & QS
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Degree Quantity Surveying
* Have good understanding of construction methodologies
* Have excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
* Must have a UK Residence and Eligible for employment
