FRS-UK are working in partnership with a new start-up residential developer who have just secured their first site. We are actively recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in all commercial matters relating to housing/residential projects, while being able to manage 3-4 projects at any one time.

Procurement

* Formation of Contract documents

* Tender Enquiries and analysis

* Contract Negotiation & Agreement

* Order formation and sign-off of all subcontract packages

Subcontractor management

* Resolution of commercial issues

* Variations agreement

* Monthly account payments

* Valuations

* Rate reviews

* Framework agreements

* Rebate claims

* Performance Monitoring and Project Reviews

* Reporting (Cost to Completes, Profit and Loss)

Meetings

* Land handover meetings

* Pre-selection meetings

* Subcontractor pre-start meetings

* Project review meetings

* Subcontractor progress meetings

* Final account meetings

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience

* Minimum 5 years’ experience

* Proven experience of working in the housing sector

* BSc Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

* Full UK Driver’s license
