FRS-UK are recruiting for an outstanding, unflappable administrator with a strong people focus and an excellent eye for detail, who can take ownership of our HR administration processes.
Working closely with the Head of HR, you will support the building of our HR function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of HR in introducing people initiatives in a heavily people focused environment, ensuring they are promoted and implemented to the company quality standard.
* Nail the administrative function and support new people processes to enhance the HR service provision.
* Be the first face new team members see by running regular in-person inductions, presenting the company overview, and making introductions to the wider team.
* Work with the Training Academy team to build a world class learning and development function to the group of companies and associated subcontractors.
* Support the team at all levels and get involved in all aspects of HR.
* Build a People MI Dashboard from scratch to support the team and push the people agenda.
Administration
* Working with the Recruitment Partner, you will organise interview schedules for Hiring Managers, generate offer letters and associated documentation when appointments are made, and take-up references for all new starters.
* Update and maintain the internal HR dashboard, ensuring new starters are added, leavers are archived, absence is recorded, holidays are up to date and information is current.
* Process all people lifecycle administration on a timely basis.
* Work with key suppliers to keep staff benefits information up to date.
* Manage the probationary process, working with senior managers to ensure new team members are effectively embedded.
* Liaise with our Payroll providers to ensure pay and people data is accurate and up to date and supporting the team with any payroll queries.
* Manage and maintain timesheet requests and submissions, timesheet schedules and weekend working schedules on a weekly basis
* Conduct exit interviews and coordinate feedback, working with the leadership team to improve retention.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to plan and prioritise workload and be flexible and able to understand the context of a busy operational environment, working to tight deadlines
* Strong IT skills particularly in Excel and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
* Strong people focus
* Good communication skills
* Discreet and able to operate with a high degree of confidentiality
* A genuine interest in HR and knowledge of HR Systems would be an advantage
