Service Coordinator

Salary: £25,000.00 – 27,000.00, plus Bonus scheme and other Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (30 minutes unpaid break)

Location: Gerrards Cross

At Veolia our Service Coordinators are responsible for Assisting with the allocation of work to drivers and vehicles. By joining Veolia as a Service Coordinator you are playing your part in helping us to combat climate change.

What will you be doing?

Answering phones, dealing with customer queries and booking on jobs
Assisting with the allocation of work to drivers and vehicles in our operating system
De-briefing all drivers on a daily basis ensuring that missed lifts are logged on and customers are informed
Ensuring that skip and Rolonoff work is performed in a logical sequence and that drivers are directed to the most advantageous disposal sites
Ensuring that drivers daily defect books are fully completed
Ensuring that working hours are recorded accurately and in accordance with the Union agreement
Ensuring that all paperwork is made available to the drivers as required including Sales and Delivery Risk Assessments for new sites
Maintaining and filing fleet compliance records eg. tacho charts, analysis reports
Uploading driver and vehicle data to the management portal portal

What are we looking for?

Numerate and PC literate with good telephone manner and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on own initiative in high pressure environment
Attention to detail
