Assembly Operative

Are you a an experienced Production or Assembly Operative who is passionate about making a difference in a small team? Do you have the drive to make a difference? Are you looking for a new position to work within a manufacturing facility? Do you have a great eye for detail? If so then this might be the job for you. We require an excellent Assembly Opertaive to join one of the UK's leading defence manufacturing businesses. This is on a permanent basis located in Denham.

About the role

You will be responsible for undertaking a variety of processes including but not limited to the bending/forming and inspection of pipes to fit various form blocks to the quality standards supplied as required by the production schedule such that the efficiency and effectiveness of the department is maintained at the highest level.

About you

– To accurately interpret engineering drawings and work instructions/build plans so that part numbers, drawing issues, relevant ADR's, process specification, and finishes can be accurately identified and applied.

– Ability to use basic measuring equipment

– Experience in using a variety of assembly/fitting tools and equipment.

– Undertake self-inspection and quality checks.
