Nursery Nurse
Denham Woodlands Nursery School is a private nursery with two sites situated within the grounds of a school. We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioner preferably with at least two years experience of working within a nursery. We operate from Monday to Friday Term time only.
As a Nursery Nurse you will be responsible for:
* Planning activities to support children's next steps
* Follow the children's play to support and scaffold their learning
* Help them to learn independence and self help skills
* Support their transition to school
* Record observations and assessments of the children
* Talk to parents to share this information
* Be fully conversant with Safeguarding procedures
* Ensure confidentiality at all times
* Work as part of a team to carry out duties as required
* Be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors in all weathers
The ideal Nursery Nurse must have the relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare and a minimum of 2 years experience in a nursery setting.
We would require the candidate to attend a trial session where they will prepare an activity to carry out with the children.
We are looking for the Nursery Nurse to start as soon as possible following on from a successful trial session.
Denham Woodlands Nursery is open for 38 weeks per year following the school term times.
The role is from 08.30-15.30 Monday to Friday
