Denham Woodlands Nursery School is a private nursery with two sites situated within the grounds of a school. We are seeking an experieced Level 3 Early Years Practitoner preferably with at least two years experience of working within a nursery. We operate from Monday to Friday Term time only.
As an Early Years Practitioner you will be responsible for:
Planning activities to support children's next steps
Follow the children's play to support and scaffold their learning
Help them to learn independence and self help skills
Support their transition to school
Record observations and assesments of the children
Talk to parents to share this information
Be fully conversant with Safeguarding procedures
Ensure confidentiality at all times
Work as part of a team to carry out duties as required
Be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors in all weathers
The ideal candidate must have the relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare and a minimum of 2 years experience in a nursery setting.
We would require the candidate to attend a trial session where they will prepare an activity to carry out with the children.
We are looking for the ideal candidate to start as soon as possible following on from a successful trial session.
Denham Woodlands Nursery is open for 38 weeks per year following the school term times. The role is from 08.30-15.30 Monday to Friday
