Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum plus new starter bonus worth £1000

Hours: 40 hour contract, plus overtime is available.

SOCOTEC UK is excited to be working in partnership with Align JV on a key section of the truly inspiring and innovative HS2 rail project based in Denham, Hertfordshire.

We are the UK's leading provider of testing, inspection and compliance services and are looking to hire a number of Technicians to work on a construction site and play a key part in testing materials from concrete to earthworks.

This role is manually demanding and you will spend most days out on the construction site or in the laboratory. With a focus on customer service and accuracy, you will represent SOCOTEC as a member of our on-site laboratory team to deliver our clients’ needs.

Key responsibilities;

* Sample and prepare materials for laboratory testing, including concrete, soils, and aggregates within the laboratory and on-site

* Accurately complete sample collections, tests and other responsibilities

* Work safely in line with company and customer protocols

We are looking for;

* Experience working in construction, materials testing, other industrial environment where health and safety is key or you may be looking for a change of direction in your career

* Hold a CSCS card or be willing to obtain this

* Hold a full UK driving licence with less than 6 points

* Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
