Mane are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a major Infrastructure project based out of Denham.

Your responsibilities of this position may include the below –

Secure and maximise entitlements under the contract (NEC experience is essential)
Report expenditure against the package budget on a monthly basis
Responsibility for tendering documentation, procurement and payment of sub-contractors and where appropriate suppliers
Understand and deliver the client's requirements, encouraging repeat business.
Comply with, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in accordance with Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement (FREDIE) principles
Monthly commercial reporting of profit, loss to tenders to management
Assist & prepare (as required) in the valuation of variations claims & defence of contras/counter claimsTo be considered for this position as a Senior Quantity Surveyor you must meet the below criteria:

Quantity Surveying Degree – Desired but not essential
Prior experience in the Civil Engineering sector
Extensive NEC experience
Proven experience as a main or specialist contractor in a commercial role
IT literate in Excel, Word and accounts packages
Flexibility to carry out duties not part of the normal remit in the interests of the team
Full UK driving licenceYou will be required to work a 40 hour week – predominately site based 4 days a week with the option of 1 day working from home.
