Aerospace – System Engineer to undertake overall Systems Design activities. Providing a consistent Systems Engineering approach to all stages of product development,

concept to in-service support.

System Engineer provides the main technical focus for our primary development projects and major subsystems contracts.

The Aerospace Team develop lifesaving evacuation systems for Aerospace / Defence applications, with innovative new technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of all products now and for the future.

The Position

Requirements Specification and Design
Electro-Mechanical – Software – Electronics
Systems performance analysis
Systems Architecture
Concepts studies, research and development
Systems Validation – including certification and design verification
Design activities within the Customer Support Services (CSS) environment
Concepts studies, research and development.
Flow-down of system requirements to subsystem requirement specifications.
Define and maintain design justification record providing linkage from system requirements to subsystem requirements.
Development of system-level test sequences.
Supporting safety, security and reliability aspects of projects
Support customer working groups as required.

Essential Requirements

Engineering / Computer Science degree
Experience in configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting systems
Strong scripting and technical skills
Good verbal and written communications
Analytical and problem
Experience of working in an Aerospace or Defence Systems Engineering environment.
Experience in DOORS
Aerospace system knowledge.
Experience of munition Safety and Suitability for Service systems engineering aspects
