Final Assembly Operative
Salary: Up to £15ph
Hours of work: 37 per week (8am – 5pm Mon to Thu with a half day on Fri)

We at Syntech Recruitment are pleased to offer an opportunity for a Final Assembly Operative to join a highly regarded engineering business based in South Oxfordshire.
As a Final Assembly Operative, you will be assembling aircraft seat pans and mechanisms, guide rails, main beam sub-assemblies and survival kits.
The daily duties of a Final Assembly Operative include:
· Using hand tools to assemble aerospace parts
· Perform quality checks on your own work
· Working to engineering diagrams/ drawings
· Undertake self-inspection
· Recording and tracking your work on the ERP software (SAP)
· Make sure tools are fit for purpose and calibrated
· Report any dangerous and other dangers such as faulty equipment to local supervision
· Follow safety regulations
· Conduct stage inspection & final certification
· Undertake training
The profile of a successful Final Assembly Operative:
· Manufacturing experience in Aerospace or other precision environment
· Experience with a variety of hand tools and power tools
· Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings / diagrams
· Computer literate (Excel / Word / SAP)
· Methodical approach
· Good attention to detail
· Ability to work within a team
· Target driven orientation
· Strong attention to detail
