SF Recruitment have recently partnered with a growing business with sites across the UK, who are looking to open a further 90 branches.

This is a newly created Talent Development Manager role, which will be pivotal to the growth and success of their business.

Salary: £55,000 + company car

This role will be to predominantly support their ambitious new branch implementation project by creating and delivering a talent management programme to help develop the skills of the existing workforce and recruit new talent to drive the project forward. In addition the Talent Development Manager will assist in other ad-hoc training initiatives as required.

Role
– Analysis of current capability/skills gaps
– Develop, document and deliver talent management programmes from the ground up
– Partner with the relevant departmental managers to coordinate, communicate and execute learning programmes that drive internal talent development
– Facilitate talent development programmes, either face to face or virtually
– Collaborate with leaders across the business to develop their team members as appropriate
– Contribute to the design and implementation of programmes and key people initiatives that reinforce a high performing culture, e.g performance and talent management, reward and recognition and employee engagement
– Create, implement and execute evaluation plans for all the talent programmes owned
– Collaborate with leaders across the business to develop succession plans
– Support with the companies apprenticeship programmes
– Ensure Line Managers/General Managers are clear on the skills and experience required when recruiting into roles.

Experience required:
– Recruitment
– Development and delivery of training programmes
– Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
– Strong communicator in writing, business presentations and in interpersonal communication
– Experience of working within trade counter or retail desirable
– Project management
– Coaching and performance management
