SF Recruitment have exclusively partnered with a large distribution company who have grown consistently over recent years.
My client is looking for a Regional HR Advisor covering the south region (Birmingham, Kent, Ipswich being the main sites with other smaller sites).
No day is ever the same and you could be needed at one of the sites at short notice. On the days you are not onsite you will be based from home, however site visits are required frequently.
This role is ideal for someone who loves being in a regional role who ensures that each site gets the presence required.
Package: £35K + 15% annual bonus + a very nice company car!
Role:
– Developing management teams' skills with ER matters, recruitment, people management and development. Main colleague groups are Warehouse Operatives, Drivers, Sales Representatives and Sales support
– Develop policy, framework and tools which enable the on-site management to lead their people effectively. The role of the HR Advisor will be to enable this approach rather than to remove the responsibility for management of people from local management. You must therefore be comfortable, able and willing to work on a coaching and advisory capacity, rather than being overly hands-on
– Provide high level advice and guidance to the management team, to enable them to carry out their own investigations, disciplinaries, performance management, flexible working cases, change management etc.
– Ensuring line managers are effectively managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle
– Supporting the General Manager in all aspects of colleague engagement
– Assisting with and developing recruitment campaigns
– Managing TUPE requirements when required
