Clinical Ward Manager | RGN | RMN | RNLD

Salary: up £45,220 + £3000 welcome bonus

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Contracted Hours: 39.75 hours (Early and Late shifts including Weekends)

Shift Pattern: Day Shift

The perfect opportunity to become part of a experienced and compassionate team as a clinical team leader. This is a 60 bedded Tier 4 CAMHS hospital for young people aged 12-18 years with a range of mental health disorders and includes the following units:
– Adolescent Care
– Acute Psychiatric
– Eating Disorders

As a Clinical Team Leader, you will provide high quality nursing, clinical, personnel and leadership for the Ward Manager in conjunction with the Clinical Lead. You will ensure compliance with People, Quality and Finance key performance indicators are adequately delivered. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for CQC outcomes, quality service and standards to all those in your care and foster an open and transparent environment. The post will ensure that the Ward Managers vision to become a flagship clinical service is cultivate throughout the systems, processes and leadership interventions.

Desirable Skills and Necessary Qualifications as a Registered Nurse

* Registered Nurse qualified – RGN/RMN/RNLD with a current valid NMC PIN

* Possesses clinical experience within mental health and/or LD treatment setting

* Previous experience working with the NHS is desirable but this is not essential

* Possess good judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills

* Clear understanding and knowledge of working with CQC/ CIW / Care inspectorate guidelines

* Strong interpersonal skills and a kind, caring and compassionate nature within nursing.

* Good organisational and time management skills

* Possess effective written and verbal communication skills

* Basic IT skills

* Good communication and English language skills
