Location – County Durham, DL17 0PB
Salary -£23,000 plus Veolia benefits
Hours – Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of earlies & lates (07:00-15:00 & 15:00 till 23:00)
Overtime when needed – Time and a half on weekends and any hours over 40 hours in the week.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pellet Mill Operator to join our busy team at Veolia Wood Pellet Energy in County Durham where you will oversee the running of the Pellet Mill, ensuring efficient and effective processing and production of wood pellets.

What will you be doing?
Handling raw material and product quality control.
Ensuring that all KPIs are met.
Carrying out routine plant inspections and adjustments/operations as required collecting and recording plant data.
Working within the company's Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System and all relevant legislation.
Undertaking continuing personal development to enhance knowledge & skills relevant to the role.
What are we looking for?
Experience gained through shift working in a continuous process operation preferably in a wood/biomass industry
Strong IT literacy for reporting purposes
Basic fault-finding and repair
Able to operate, or train to operate a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant.
