On behalf of a fantastic independent care provider I am looking for a Home Manager to join the team at a wonderful Residential Care Home in Chesham.

Job Description:

An experienced and motivated individual is required to help manage a small Residential Home within the Chesham area. The home specialises in elderly and dementia care for up to 12 residents and their current CQC report is rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' in all areas.

This position is working Monday to Friday and comes with a generous salary of £35,000+ per annum. (Negotiable for the right candidate)

The Proprietor is currently registered as the Home Manager and has been for a number of years. She is now looking at taking a step back from the day to running of the service and as such, she is seeking a strong and experienced individual with drive and commitment who is seeking a new exciting challenge. The ideal candidate will have previous managerial experience within healthcare, preferably as a Care Home Manager, and good leadership skills.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

Skills/ Experience:

NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care or Registered Managers Award minimum

Experience of working within a Care Home environment

Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards

Registered Manager Duties will include:

Overall responsibility of the home

Staff management/appraisals/Training

Care plans/reviews/meetings
