Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 plus benefits

Location: Chesham

Quality Assurance Specialist Overview

This is an excellent role for an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist looking to join a growing medical technology company that develop and manufacture a range of innovative products, with a worldwide presence.

Have you got experience and knowledge of ISO13485 systems, and are you looking to progress into a quality management role within the next few years? If so, this could be an ideal match for you. This well-established company is a global specialist, providing state of the art medical laser equipment to hospitals and high profile clients such as Manchester United, Nike and Harvard Medical School.

The Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with the Quality Manager where you will perform internal and supplier audits, supporting the Quality Assurance and reporting on aspects of the QMS. You will also be responsible for acting as non-conformance/audit function within a manufacturing environment.

This role would ideally suit a Quality Assurance Specialist who has experience of ISO13485 systems, where you will undergo full training and development, whilst progressing into becoming the Quality Manager.

Please note that the business are willing to consider bright applicants with experience from the aerospace and automotive engineering field (within QA) who are looking to persue a career within Medical Technology.

Quality Assurance Specialist Requirements

* Several years of quality assurance experience, ideally within a medical tech business

* Knowledge of ISO 13485 is ideal however experience on similar engineering ISO requirements in safety critical environments will be considered

* Able to maintain a businesses QMS system

* Conduct and coordinate supplier and internal auditing

* A desire to progress into a management role within the next few years

* Excellent communication skills
