SEN Teaching Assistant Chesham Full Time February 2022 until July 2022

TLTP are currently working with a Chesham based SEN school, who are looking to recruit an SEN TA to work with children who have severe, profound and complex disabilities. This will be for the remainder of the academic year, at least, most likely being extended into the next academic year.

Are you able to engage children in the classroom as well as adding additional concentration and development of learning?

Can you build relationships with the pupils that support the children in the process of learning?

Do you have experience with children with SEN?

SEN Teaching Assistant:

This is a special school for 70 learners. Learners can join their Early Years class from 3 years old, and as they are an all-through school with three distinct phases, they can continue to meet learners' changing needs as they grow up and get ready for adulthood. The eldest learners are 19. Their learners are a neurodiverse group, with severe, profound and complex disabilities. To provide the best education for them our staff team is multidisciplinary.

The school is roughly a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, as well as offering on-site parking for drivers. The school are looking for an experienced, adaptive, and positive teaching assistant that can assist and communicate in the learning of students, as well as bonding with children to create healthy relationships to assist children in the process of learning.
