Learning Support Assistant – SLD Specialist 

Learning Support Assistant for SEND School works with children from 5 – 19 – PMLD, SLD, SEND, ASD. This is a specialist SEND School and the children and young adults enjoy 1-2-1 support.  You will need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as working as part of a team in this critical support capacity.  The people at this school are absolutely lovely, they work hard to make sure that the children and young adults at this school feel supported and importantly treated normally despite their lack of capacity or disability.  

You will be:-

–          An experienced Learning Support Assistant
–          Happy to work with children with PMLD or SLD
–          Comfortable working with children in wheelchairs
–          Able to provide personal car and possibly peg feeding if required
–          Used to working with children that need a lot of support
–          Looking for a lovely school with a fabulous leadership team
