Our client are a leading Builders Merchant who provide building supplies to the construction industry. Due to the continueed success and expansion of their branch, they are looking to increase their headcount of yard staff to help fulfil demand.

The position will consist of loading and unloading vehicles using a counterbalance fork lift truck, Assisting customers on the yard to give them advice, and help hem load their vehicles with products that have been purchased, general housekeeping of the yard, and moving of materials as needed.

Due to the requirements of the client, someone who has experience working within a builders merchant or timber merchant yard is very important along with experience using a counterbalance fork lift. However, should you have both the experience using a fork lift, and previuos labouring experience on building sites, they may consider the application as well.

– Basic salary of up to c£24k depending on experience
