Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Based in Berkshire office with frequent customer visits
Salary:

We are a fast growing, entrepreneurial and forward-thinking manufacturer of high-performance fluid dynamics systems to the F1, motorsport and high-end automotive markets with full UK manufacturing facilities. Highly regarded in our market, we aim to build on our leadership by continuously expanding our commercial and engineering resources.
The Role:
The main purpose of this position is to:
Identify opportunities and secure niche fluid dynamics and associated market sales to existing (F1, motorsport, automotive) and new (industrial) markets.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the sales team
* Be a key contributor to the senior management team.
* Work with the Sales Executive and other team members to research and scope target markets.
* Identify entry points and secure profitable new business.
* Sales forecasting, analysis and reporting using the company CRM system.
* Establish and sustain excellent client relationships.
* Ensure exemplary account maintenance and new business generation.
Skills and Abilities:
* A natural leader for positive change and improvement in a fast-moving business.
* Continuous improvement (Kazien) and relentless pursuit of perfection (Kodawari) approach.
* Exposure to an engineering / assembly manufacturing environment, ideally in a sales / business development / management role.
* A “can do / will do” attitude and positive approach to change and improvement.
* Exceptional ability to interact with and positively impact clients, employees, and external agencies.
* Ability to monitor and analyse performance, as well as to recommend and deliver rapid positive change.
* Superb interpersonal and communications skills.
* Self-discipline, pragmatism, practicality.
* Demonstrable experience of successfully and assertively working with customers
* Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
* A keen eye for detail and results driven approach.
* A change agent, driving higher performance, challenging the status quo, and proactively addressing gaps.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
* Able to work in a time sensitive environment with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously on own initiative.
* Language skills an asset.
* Engineering and / or Motorsport qualified.
