This will be supporting a gentleman in his own house in Buckingham. He has a learning disability with specific additional health needs and complex behaviours which can be a challenge to staff. This is an exciting opportunity to support him to achieve new things and make huge positive changes to his life.
This really is a unique career opportunity for people who have the passion and commitment to develop their skills and make a lasting positive contribution to the lives of others. You don’t need any qualifications as a full induction plus professional training will be provided, including Positive Behaviour Support training, although previous experience of working within this environment is advantageous.
The most important thing is a caring and resilient attitude, and the ability to use positive, calm and clear communication to enhance the day-to-day lives of the people we support.
