Qualified Social Worker – Assessment – Buckinghamshire – £32-£37 Ph (umbrella)

3D Recruit are working with Buckinghamshire in seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join the Assessment Team. Working closely with children, young people, and families. This Qualified Social Worker role is a Full-Time locum position on an initial 3-month contract.

About the Job:

As a Qualified Social Worker in the Assessments Team, you will maintain an array of caseloads, for families, offering individual support and group interventions as part of the family action plan.

As well as working with parents separately to encourage their independence and self-resilience while helping them develop a consistent and positive parenting practices to address disrupting behaviours and to help overcome challenges.

You will implement persistent and proactive interventions when working with parents to enable positive changes in their lives and therefore their children’s lives.

You will need to develop and sustain a working and healthy relationship with your service user and their immediate family. Providing an empowering professional relationship founded on the understanding and mutual respect of one another.

Requirements for a Qualified Social Worker in the Assessment Team

* Social Work England Registration

* Social Work qualification

* Experience working with children, young people, and families.

* DBS on the Update Service or happy to apply for one

* Satisfactory references

* Right to Work in the UK

* UK experience (preferred)
