HCA / Healthcare Assistant / Care Assistant

We are currently recruiting HCAs / healthcare assistants to work in care homes in and around the Buckimgham area.

The role of a HCA / Healthcare assistant is to support the nursing staff to deliver the highest standard of care to adults, older persons and children. The role is varied and busy but rewarding.

Typical duties for HCA’s might include providing personal care, assisting with meals, dressing or light activities, accompanying the individual to appointments or social activities and providing companionship.

You must have at least 12 months’ experience in a hospital or a care home setting as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) or Care Assistant, have an enhanced DBS in the last 12 months (preferably registered with the Update Service) and be available to work a shift pattern across days, evenings and weekends. You should also have a good level of English (written & verbal) for report writing.

You will:
* Hold a valid DBS (Conducted in the last 12 months)
* Able to work shifts, morning, evening or nights to include some weekends
* Hold an NVQ 2 (or equiv) In Health & Social Care
* All mandatory training in date
