Marks Consulting Partners are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Building Surveyor to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to a local authority.

The client I am working with are looking for a hard-working individual who is committed to delivering high quality, professional property service. You will need to be flexible, have good communication skills, eager to make a difference and able to work on your own initiative to deal with diverse projects and prioritise accordingly. Working as a crucial member of a strong team providing support and in collaboration with other teams and customers is vital.

You will be managing a diverse property portfolio of commercial property including offices, leisure centres and other operational property plus farmland and woodlands.

The successful candidate will have an RICS or CIOB accredited degree in Building Surveying and have at least 3 years PQE. In practical terms you will be competent in analysing defects in commercial and leisure sector buildings, writing specifications for building repairs and improvements and have a good working knowledge of building and planning legislation, CDM and the JCT or NEC Suite of Building Contracts
