Compliance Advisor – Landfill

South East

£-Attractive salary plus car or car allowance

Our client, a leading waste operator, is looking to recruit a Compliance Advisor to provide environmental compliance support and guidance across a number of active and closed landfill sites in the South East. You will assist in achieving overall compliance with the Environmental Permit and other relevant environmental legislation and be responsible for co-operating and supporting in developing the site’s relationship with the regulator. You will also ensure all environmental monitoring and reporting is completed in accordance with the monitoring schedule.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven track record in an environmental compliance role, ideally gained within the waste management industry

* Experience in the use of environmental monitoring equipment and/or analysers.

* Good report writing and data analytical skills

* Ability to deliver projects on time and to budget within a demanding commercial environment

* Ability to work collaboratively at site level with operational, environmental and managerial staff

* Membership of CIWM would be beneficial.
