Biomedical Scientist FTC

The opportunity to work within a renowned healthcare organisation, providing medical analysis services. You will work in a fast-paced medical laboratory with either biochemistry/ haematology or microbiological techniques, depending on your expertise.

This job role will involve carrying out analysis of patient samples providing diagnostic test results. Duties will also include; performing technical validation and participating in QA activities/ audits.

We currently have multiple Biomedical Scientist opportunities across the UK on initial 6-month FTC basis. The opportunity for contract renewal is very realistic.

Experience:

* Must be HCPC registered

* Previous work experience in a medical laboratory setting

* Previous experience in a UK/ NHS lab would be preferred

* Hands on practical skills in; haematology, microbiology or clinical biochemistry are essential

* Experience with automated laboratory equipment would be an advantage

* Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
