Position: iOS/macOS Developer

Location: Mix of remote and Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, 4 days/week remote, 1 day/week in the office

Salary: 50k GBP max. + Pension + Parking + Childcare

Due to an internal promotion within the business, we are now looking to recruit an IT Junior Software Engineer to join the IT team.

Due to continued success, we are on the lookout for a talented iOS/macOS developer to join the growing team.

Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the successful candidate will work within a small team developing an exciting range of new and existing iOS, macOS and Android applications – such as car performance testing and motorsport lap and video analysis apps.

A general interest in cars and/or motorsport would be an advantage but isn’t essential.

The role is primarily remote – though the candidate should be able to visit the Buckingham office for meetings and 'keep in touch' days.

Essential Skill

The successful candidate should have proven experience of the full development lifecycle using at least one of the following:
– Swift – macOS / iOS
– Objective-C

Desirable Skills

In addition, knowledge and experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
– Java, Kotlin (Android)
– Xamarin, Flutter, other cross-platform development tools.
– CocoaPods
– Git
– UI / UX design
– MVC or other design patterns like MVVM, VIPER etc
– App store deployment
– Core Data
– Bluetooth (MFI) / Socket
