Fantastic opportunity for a Structural CAD Technician to join a busy and growing engineering consultancy based in the Buckinghamshire area
available for an immediate start!

The company are a well-established multi-disciplinary design consultancy who's client orientated approach has rewarded them with a busy and
successful business, working across a variety of building sectors throughout the UK and internationally.

Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic structural CAD Technician, keen to progress, with a minimum of 1-5 years relevant
experience within a similar consultancy environment.

You will:

·Liaise closely with engineers to ensure accurate drawing representation
·Play an important part in the detailing and modelling of a wide range of building structures projects
·Aid the development of more junior team members
·Carry out steel and concrete layout drawings
·Aid the development of more junior team members
·Attending Design team meetings

Requirements

·Hold either an ONC/OND or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering (Desirable)
·Minimum of 1-5 years' experience within a consultancy-based role.
·Have experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
·Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD with proven track record in delivering high standards of draughtsmanship
·Experience with Revit is desirable though not essential
·Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
