We are looking to recruit a Maintenance fitter for a well established and market leading food manufacturing company in Buckinghamshire.
The company specialise in manufacturing a number of snacking products and ingredients for the food industry. They are owned by a leading global food group and have an excellent future. The company have a great working environment and offer great career opportunities for employees.
We are looking for a Maintenance fitter who has previous experience in food or manufacturing environments. The role will involve working alongside a team of engineers, all tasked with helping to improve plant performance and efficiency. The role will involve a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance, along with continuous improvement implementation and project management.
We are interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following experiences
Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Multi-skilled Engineer or Technician
Experience working in food production or manufacturing
Reactive and planned maintenance on plant machinery
Continuous Improvement implementation and project management
Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, fabricating etc.
We are also interested in hearing from you if you have one of the following qualifications
Time-served engineering apprenticeship
Recognised engineering qualifications (NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds, HNC, HND)
Experience in food manufacturing or other
Fault finding and rectification
The Maintenance fitter role attracts an attractive overall salary of £32,000 for a Monday- Friday day shift role. The role also has 25 days holiday allowance and a generous company pension.
