Geoenvironmental Engineer Required, Buckinghamshire.

Ground Investigation Recruitment Are Recruiting on Behalf of An Independent, Multi-Disciplinary, Project Management, Environmental and Engineering Consultancy for a Geoenvironmental Engineer.

This highly reputable independent company values its place in making the built and natural environment a better place for the community, previously predominantly working in landfills but have now successfully expanded into other areas which have to lead to the vacancy.

They are seeking someone with 2 – 5 years experience with a degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, or any other relevant subject within the field.

The role involves everything from going out to the site, quoting, managing contractors, desk studies, factual and interpretive report writing in geotechnical and contaminated land. Also required to help write risk assessments, document processes, and support staff training in other offices.

Other Requirements:

· Proficient in logging to BS5930

· Good understanding of UK geology, hydrology, and interpreting geological maps, published data, and site data.

· Good understanding of site investigations and techniques.

· Some knowledge and understanding of design packages such as SlopeW.

· Good knowledge of Holebase software for logs and cross-sections.

· Basic knowledge of CAD for producing site plans and cross-sections.

· Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle
