Fire Alarm & Security Inspector – Herfordshire

A leading certification body specialising in providing certification services to the security and fire safety industry is looking to add a new Fire & Security Inspector to the Regional team.

Founded in 1994, the company limited by guarantee, operating on a not-for-profit basis. It promotes high standards of service and is focused on serving the certification needs of organisations providing security and safety related services.

The companies scope of activity includes the certification of organisations supplying security systems, fire detection and alarm systems, fire risk assessments, portable fire extinguishing equipment, manned security services, telecare services and monitoring services.

Previous experience:

* Design, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems is essential

* Some knowledge of electronic security systems is also desirable.

* Knowledge of the BS5839

You will be required to work flexible hours and must be willing to travel as well. A confident and determined professional who can work as part of a team and as an individual under their own initiative, the successful applicant must also have an eye for attention to detail.

Salary

* £37,000 – £42,000 basic

* 2 months training

* Company car or allowance £500 per month

* All expenses paid

* 6% pension contribution
