I am recruiting for a market leader in transport Robots, they are a well established business with sites doted across Europe and a fantastic reputation in the market.

They are looking to introduce this newly created role to stregthen the UK site. Its a fantactic opportunity to step into a business and help shape the role.

Responsibilities:

Support and guidance

* Assisting in the transfer of technical systems in terms of controls aspects (hydraulics, electrical engineering, pneumatics, PLC)

* Providing expertise and backup in the case of technical problems both internal during assembly and external to customer(s)

* Providing instructions to (end)users and technicians

* Providing support and advice to the members of the product team

* Acting as operational extension of the department leadership both at the work location and the customer location (if requested)

* Acting as information source and point of contact for the customer during commissioning phase (if requested|)

* Deisigning process flow and route mapping (with AutoCAD)

Commissioning

* Studying and analysing the order, consulting with the customer, Product Manager/Engineer, and other internal departments

* Advising in the context of writing/rewriting (electrical) engineering diagrams based on findings and experience

* Commissioning machines/vehicles following the test protocol

* Identifying and remedying unsafe and undesirable situations in the machine/vehicle

* Performing Factory Acceptance Test before delivery to Customer and Site Acceptance test together with Customer

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Electrical engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or other equivalent

* AutoCAD proficent

* Minimum 3-5 years (relevant) work experience with AGV or Robotics

* Good social and communication skills

* Willingness to travel and work at customer location

* Flexible and professional work attitude

* Problem-solving abilities with the skill to prioritise issues
