We Require a permanent Principal Software Engineer

Mandatory

* Degree Qualified

* Experience in C# code base within the Visual Studio 2008 / 2015 environment <– ideally look for at least 7 year's experience.

* Experience in developing software programs for use within the Windows 7 and 10 OS environment.

* Experience in developing front end user interface software with graphical control using the MS .NET framework toolset.

* Experience of writing software applications which communicate with embedded hardware.

* Experience in RS232, Ethernet and USB software to hardware communication protocols.

* Experience in creating C# framework and generic functions to prevent duplication of code within core C# software applications.

* Experience of XML, HTML file creation and management and various file encryption techniques and methods.

* Experience of using control software for version tracking, i.e. SVN or similar

* Experience of using bug reporting software for issue reporting, i.e. bugzilla

Preferred

* Development of mobile/tablet application development on Andriod and/or Apple OS environments.

* Management of a small team of software engineers.

* Experience of creating software applications for use with specialist capital equipment.

* CVI/LabWindows experience would be beneficial.
