Vital People are looking for Farm Workers to join their clients team.

Hours of Work: Mon – Fri 7am – 4pm / 6.30am – 3.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Feeding and looking after livestock

• Treating animals and crops with care

• Physically handling the turkeys with a duty of care

• Maintaining farm buildings

• Trimming hedges, clearing drainage ditches and mending fences and walls

• Heavy lifting items across sites

• Spraying pesticides across site

• Adhering to stringent guidelines at all times

Essential Skills:

• Due to the environment all staff are required to shower on site before shift and after.

• Must be flexible to working hours and ideally open to overtime on weekends.

• Must be able to carry out physically demanding duties

• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations

• The ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure

• To be flexible and open to change

• The ability to work well with your hands

• Excellent verbal communication skills
