The Role

– Manage and take ownership of the entire production chain from receipt of production order to final quality control in Dispatch.

– Manage end-to-end relationships with all production departments and teams.

– Look to improve production processes and team management control.

– Follow up and monitor all orders in production.

– Lead by example — be able to on occasion jump on a bench to show and teach techniques to the team.

– Work collaboratively across teams to resolve any issues on a daily basis and plan new production workloads to ensure efficient and effective support.

– Source products and materials where necessary with the buying department.

– Organize and manage the procurement of bespoke goods with the buying department.

– Continually improve and develop production processes and protocols to prevent repeat problems and improve efficiency.

– Continuously motivate the team to ensure an energetic and pleasant work environment.

– Assist with recruitment when necessary.

– Oversee and manage Health & Safety for the factory and implement best practice procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

– Contribute to the strategic planning process by setting and delivering against KPI’s.
