Ecommerce Operations / General Manager

I am looking for an experienced Ecommerce General manager for a Large well known Retail company who move a great deal of product This is a growing and fast paced role with so much development available.

Ensure that all warehousing and all 3PL vehicles are kept in a clean, safe, roadworthy condition and serviced in accordance with company policy. Ensure the Warehouse operations run smoothly, the orders are shipped to demanding deadlines so a good knowledge of pick operations is essential.

This role is for a 24 / 7 operation which is growing so an opportunity to open a new warehouse shed and grow even further to managing regional sheds will be a possibility. Huge potential to have full complete ownership in this role P&L all recruitment and operations.

Direct responsibility for all Transport and Warehouse operations by performance management of the operational team, ensuring that they are accountable / responsible in relation to their duties Achieving budgeted levels of productivity and adherence to all Company and customer KPI's To ensure an efficient and professional level of service is provided to all customers within the agreed delivery schedules Build and maintain effective Customer Partnerships and Account Management Managing the deployment of labour, and ensuring all operational deadlines are met.

Encourage innovation and strategic thinking within the management and operational teams. Improve employee engagement amongst the workforce and develop appropriate action plans

Profile

Key aspects of the successful candidate include:
Experience of Retail distribution preferably extremely fast moving products on a multi-site basis

Desirable to be Degree Qualified or equivalent

Organised and good time management Experience of business partnering with multiple customers’ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business Confidence to negotiate, challenge and influence Attention to detail
