I am looking for a Senior Buyer for a well established Groundworker based in Buckinghamshire, the job will be on a full time permanent basis.
Driven buyer who is detail orientated, the selected individual is to be reposible for purchasing quality products for the business.
YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE !
Key Duties include:
* Research, select and purchase quality products and materials required by the business
* Build relationships with new and existing suppliers, sub contractors whilst negotiating the best terms and prices
* Process requisitions and update management on status of orders
* Arrange deliveries to ensure timely deliveries on verious sites across the UK
* Ability to travel to various sites across the UK
Desired skills and Experience:
* Previous Construction Buyer experience is essential
* Knowledge of materials and ability to read drawings
* Strong work ethic and to be a team player
* Self motivated
* Excellent computer and numerical skills
* Full UK driving License
