The Client

Our Client is a leading Main Contractor who has been established for over 40 years & specialises in large Civil Engineering / Infrastructure projects. They are currently working on one of the UK most prestigious project in the Buckingham area and are currently recruiting a Section Engineer with a proven track record of delivering on large multi-million-pound projects.

Role

* Managing Quality Assurance

* Supervising the Setting Out Engineers

* Programming & Planning of works

* Ordering the Plant & other materials

* Allocation of works

* Attending Progress meetings

* Reviewing designs

* Managing / Supervising Sub Contractors

* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and effective construction practice

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have 5 years minimum Section Engineer experience worked for a Main contractor in this capacity, has a proven track record of delivering large scale Civils’ projects. Must be degree qualified or similar, hold a Valid professional CSCS Card, computer literate, Able to Plan work using Microsoft project or Primavera and Microsoft office suite, Experience using AutoCAD. Must have excellent written / Oral communication skills. preferably from a Civil Engineering background.
