Design Coordinator | £35,000 – £50,000 | Buckinghamshire | Main Contractor | Permanent

Fantastic opportunity for a Design Coordinator to join a really great business near Buckingham.

Covering an array of project types to include but not limited to commercial, industrial, mixed-developments, warehouse, distribution centres and residential – the Design Coordinator can expect to be working on a nice variety of schemes alongside a genuinely decent team who look after their people.

Design Coordinator – key responsibilities and duties:

* Attend design meetings to coordinate all necessary information

* Review drawings and identify potential problems

* Ensure compliance with all contract specifications, regulations and standards

* Provide design support to delivery team

* Coordinate submission of information for building control compliance

* Report design progress to the design manager

* Take care of the design process for up to 4 projects at any one time, with projects falling in to the £1m£10m capacity

Design Coordinator – qualifications, skills and experience:

* Experience in a Design Coordinator capacity within a main contractor environment

* Ideally candidates will have worked on commercial / industrial projects with schemes in the region of £2£10m

* Strong understanding and genuine interest in design and construction

* Experience of reviewing civils, drainage, concrete, steel frames, M&E etc

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
