Business Analyst – Buckinghamshire – Can work from home – Permanent – £45000 – £55000, plus car, bonus, pension.
My client a leader in their field is looking to recruit a new Business Analyst to grow a team in the future. This is an amazing opportunity for an ambitious character. You can work from home and visit the office on occasion.
A hands-on role assuming responsibility for capturing business requirements for change, analysing end-to-end business processes & systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, then adopting a structured, pragmatic approach to designing, driving & implementing change which delivers tangible business benefits.
* Helping to develop a pragmatic "best-practce" approach to business process
* improvement through applications enablement, then educating stakeholdrers & championing it adoption business-wide
* Capturing & documenting high-level business requirements for change to effect business improvement
* Investigating, mapping, modelling & analysing current (‘as is’) business processes/systems
* Identifying opportunities to increase business effectiveness, efficiency, productivity & performance, whilst reducing overheads & costs
* Identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise & automate requisite activities, eliminating unnecessary tasks wherever possible
* Determining, documenting & mapping new, improved ('to be') business processes/systems, leveraging 'best practice' use of the existing business applications suite wherever possible
* Track record which evidences delivering measurable business process improvement, through simplification, standardisation & automation
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with extensive Board/Senior Management level interaction & exposure
* Experience of working in complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-functional organisations/environments
* High-energy, enthusiastic self-starter capable of autonomous working
* Business focussed, process led, benefits driven, results orientated
* Excellent communication & relationship/team building skills
* Strong influencing & facilitation skills
* Willing to adopt a flexible, hands-on, common-sense, ‘can do’ approach to ensure benefits realisation
Desirable:
* Construction sector experience
* Knowledge of Xpedeon or similar construction ERP applications
* Knowledge of Aconex or similar construction ECM/CDE applications
* Knowledge of Civica or similar HR & Payroll applications
