As a Support Manager at Shaw Trust you will be working with individuals (participants) who are currently unemployed, to support them to find employment. You will be build good working relationships with your caseload of participants, getting to know what they need to support them into employment. This is a role with clear objectives and targets, therefore being organised, having a proactive approach and enjoying working in a busy role is crucial. You will enjoy speaking to people, coaching and motivating them to achieve their goals regarding finding employment.
You will create action plans with the participants who you are supporting, to document their journey and set clear and achievable objectives to help them toward employment. Additionally you will develop good working relationships with stakeholders whom you can signpost the people you are helping for additional or specific support, and make contact with employers who are recruiting to find opportunities that your participants may apply for.
You may have experience working in a customer services or people focused role, with experience in sales or working in a target driven environment. You will feel rewarded through empowering and supporting others, and making a positive impact.
We welcome applicants from those looking to work flexibly, and can offer part time positions of a minimum of 3 days per week, or shorter working days across 4 or 5 days.
