M-Tec Engineering is currently recruiting on behalf of a major manufacturing organisation that requires a Quality Technician.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Technician to make the step up into an Engineer in the near future.

As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for the following:

* Communicating quality issues to the quality engineering team

* Reviewing Control Plans

* Contribute to completing process instruction sheets in line with process flow and PFMEA.

* Complete first off and periodic audits to any new product launches

* Ensure quality standards are maintained

* Liaise with other departments regarding quality concerns.

* Participate in quality checks and controls.

* Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve departmental performance on safety, uptime, availability, maintenance, equipment modifications, plant, error proofing, technical systems and processes and cost down opportunities

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

* Ability to work using your own initiative

* Strong communication with various levels of seniority

* Strong literacy and numeracy
