Equation Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of our favourite clients again to assist them in their search for two Client Support Technicians. The roles will eventually be based in their offices in Buckingham however due to the current restrictions will begin as a work from home role. On a day to day basis this role involves the technical support of the client products by providing telephone, e-mail and Skype based responses to our global customer base and network of distributors.
Working alongside 3 other technicians and reporting into the Support Manager the successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and orally, and will have the self-motivation, ability, willingness to work with minimal supervision upon successful completion of the training period.
Paying £22-£28000 per annum plus bonus applicant will be able to demonstrate the below as a minimum standard.
Experience working in the OEM automotive or Motorsport industries and has had some experience of vehicle data analysis, vehicle testing or race data analysis/telemetry
A clear, concise writing technique and a polite telephone manner
Customer service experience
Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting
A positive attitude and good team working skills
Full clean UK driving licence
It would also be beneficial if the successful applicant had experience in one or more of the following within their skillset:
An understanding of vehicle data acquisition techniques
Exposure to vehicle CAN and GPS technologies
Technology testing experience
Basic electronics knowledge
Further to the above in order to be successful applicants will have a suitable working area and a good broadband connection in order to remote work during the COVID period.
