GBR Recruitment are proud to be working in business partnership with a leading well-being product manufacturer distributor recruiting for several experienced Web Content Specialist professionals to join their expanding & highly successful innovative content team, continuing to make the business a front runner in their niche sector.
As part of this creative & innovative UK / Pan-European Marketing team, as the Web Content Specialist you will play an integral part of a substantial multi-country e-commerce roll-out project. This will mainly entail the testing and maintenance of multiple European e-commerce websites / web pages, each one tailored to specific market demands and language needs including new shopping, well-being product enrolment experiences, and small enhancements to the companies websites as the e-commerce focused project progresses & rolls out further.
In this key Web Content Specialist role, you will be focused on the regular maintenance and build / roll out of content websites each tailored to specific market and language needs.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Working across multiple content management systems (CMS) including Crownpeak and Hybris, liaising with developers and editors to ensure launched websites fulfil the needs and standards of the Pan European operation
* Strong Coordination with IT and development teams to assist in testing with the launch of new sites and the improvements made to existing sites
* Upload marketing content to a range of different digital platforms including the ongoing development of a new e-commerce website shopping experience, following the company protocols and processes
* Operating across a variety of different language websites, translations will be provided to make the solutions specific to one language or multi-lingual / bi-lingual.
* Plan, define and implement website updates & changes.
* Investigate, remedy and / or report any operational and technical e-commerce website issues
* May be required to update HTML and CSS to create accurate, complete, discoverable and usable digital content
Qualifications and Experience
* Time served in a Web Content role ideally with strong exposure to E-commerce retail sites
* Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, IT or a directly relevant subject qualification is preferable but not essential
* Experience of web content administration and web content management systems is a must have.
* Experienced in editing, managing and implementing intranets or collaborative software across different brands, different products & topics.
* A proficient understanding of the components of common web technology (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
* Understanding of related web content aspects such as SEO, Google Analytics and other website optimisation and related tools to help determine, analyse and optimise the e-commerce users customer experience & customer journey.
* You will have "the eagle eye" when it comes to spotting detail to ensure all key brand / product messaging and styles remain consistent across all digital platforms
* From the outset, strong interpersonal skills, a calm demeanour as well as a good command of English will be key.
* A self-motivated creative professional with extremely high levels of energy, innovation and real drive / enthusiasm for all things web related.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritise work under pressure
